When reflecting on my collages, there are two people that come to mind. My high school Bible studies teacher, Dr. Cool, and my Grammy. Dr. Cool (who is now a good pal of mine) had been collecting magazines, newspapers and scholarly journals since the 60s. My Grammy, a fellow crafter, subscribes to several design magazines that she flips through and adds to a stack on her kitchen counter. Both of these people have greatly contributed to my collage work (and also my life as a whole). Their donations of the paper goods that they have collected have provided great material for me to use in my work.
